Ghana: Adenta Assembly Commissions 2 Projects

The Adenta Municipal Chief Executive, Mr Daniel Alexander Nii Nio Adumah, has commissioned two projects expected to bring development for residents and operations of the assembly. Sudan: Midwives Told to Stop Genital Mutilation On Mothers After Birth

London — Sudanese midwives must stop performing female genital mutilation (FGM) on new mothers, health experts said on Thursday, adding that it was undermining broader efforts to wipe out the internationally condemned practice.
